The proposed new building attempts to take a bold step forward in setting a precedent for the future of architecture in Uganda. It challenges the local architectural discourse by introducing international-standard architectural techniques and solutions to the Built Environment. Some of these include: Unique and Creative Design Concept, New Material Applications such as a Solar Panel Façade System, Green Building Standards, including: Low Carbon Footprint, Integrated ‘Green Spaces’ across multiple levels, Renewable Resources (Waste water recycling and storm water collection and use, Solar street lighting)
